To give you the quality paint job you expect here is what I will do to prepare your home for painting. You choose the colors and we do all the work. Please view our photo gallery for a few samples of our work.

Recommended Exterior Surface Prep

Remove loose or peeling paint, mildew, dirt, oil, wax, and other surface contaminants by power washing or sanding. Treat mildew with a bleach solution, and rinse thoroughly before painting. Fill all nail holes and other surface defects with a proper filler or caulk. All butt joints must be caulked after primer coat to prevent moisture from attacking the open-end grain. Old glossy finishes should be sanded to a dull finish, dusted, and spot primed prior to painting.

Recommended Interior Surface Prep

The surface to be painted should be dry and free of any dirt, chalk, grease, oil, loose or peeling paint or other foreign contaminants. Remove dirt, grease and other contaminants by washing with a detergent solution, rinse thoroughly, and allow the surface to completely dry. Areas that need special attention are doors and doorjambs that come in frequent contact with hand oils. Repair/Caulk all cracks and surface irregularities with putty or a sandable wood filler. Always prime all new or bare wood with an enamel undercoat.

Fiber-cement siding is now on over three million homes in North America, a growing testament to the dedication to produce one of the world's most durable sidings.

Definition: HardiPlank and HardiPanel are brand names for fiber cement siding manufactured by James Hardie Building Products. The siding is made from portland cement mixed with ground sand, cellulose fiber, and other additives.

Masonite siding:

While I do not recommend Masonite siding for new homes or complete change outs. It is often the more affordable options for homes that have damage due to water penetration. If the caulking, windows, or peeling paint has allowed water to enter this siding you may be experiencing some or all of the following symptoms.

Buckling, Rotting, Softening, Blistering, Swelling, Cracked exterior paint.

This is not cause for alarm. This also does not mean that you need to incur the expense of a complete residing job. We can replace the damaged portion with new masonite or hardiplank siding, caulk, and paint. With proper maintenance your home will be fine for many years to come.

Sealing of grout joints and tiles is part of the job. This keeps your grout lines the color you choose and is resistant to staining. We'll seal already-installed work.

Choosing the right type of flooring for your home is a very important task. For those trying to make the decision, you may want to consider the various benefits of laminate flooring. This type of flooring is a composite product that looks much like a wood product.

One of the most attractive attributes of laminate flooring is the price. Although this type of flooring looks just like hardwood flooring, it is much cheaper. Laminate also doesn't require the maintenance of hardwood or carpeting. Hardwood floors have to be refinished every so often, and carpets must be cleaned regularly. The low price of laminate flooring also usually includes an extensive warranty. Warranties range from 10 to 25 years just in case something happens to the floor. This is usually not an issue because another benefit of this kind of flooring is the durability.

Laminate flooring is extremely durable. These floors are engineered to last for years and years. They are extremely resistant to moisture, stains, and fading. Laminate flooring is also not as susceptible to scratching and denting like traditional hardwood floors are. If something does manage to happen to your floor, it is usually very easy to fix with a kit sold by the manufacturer.

Laminate flooring is also healthier than some other flooring options. For example, carpet attracts lots of dust, allergens, and pet dander. This can be a real problem for people with bad allergies. With simple and regular cleaning, laminate floors don't attract nearly as much.
